Resonants

## Definition

Resonants are humans who have developed the ability to perceive and manipulate quantum entanglement fields through neural augmentation. This capability emerged accidentally during early experiments with faster-than-light communication.

The Resonance

What began as a side effect became a revolution. Resonants can "feel" the connections between entangled particles, allowing them to navigate quantum space with an intuition that no computer can match.

Society

Resonants form a unique subculture within human civilization, neither fully separate nor fully integrated. They speak of "hearing the music of the spheres"—a synesthetic experience of quantum phenomena that defies conventional description.

Limitations

The gift comes with a cost. Prolonged exposure to quantum fields can lead to dissociation, where the boundary between self and universe begins to blur. Most Resonants must carefully manage their exposure to maintain psychological stability.
